A new session of the BioMatch Series, a program initiated in SIP for the purpose of promoting transfer and transformation of biomedical technologies from universities, was held at Talent Show, SIP recently, alongside the 2nd Yangtze River Delta Medical Engineering Transformation Innovation Competition.

At the event, the guests from the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology and the Fourth Hospital Affiliated to Soochow University shared experience in school-based project incubation and school-hospital collaboration in clinical trials of research findings.
The Regional University-Industry Technology Transfer Center for Biopharmaceuticals (Suzhou, Jiangsu), an organizer of the event, gave an introduction to its services for commercialization of sci-tech research findings from higher education institutions.

In the roadshow session, 10 projects from universities including University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, East China University of Science and Technology and Shanghai University of Medicine & Health Sciences were presented. Focusing on key fields such as ozone wound therapy, medicinal food products and intelligent assessment equipment for cognitive impairment, these projects attracted great attention from enterprises and investment institutions.
A panel of judges, composed of experts from medical research institutes, enterprises and investment organizations, provided professional insights on these projects, aiming to assist the research teams in optimizing their technical solutions and accelerating the process of commercialization.
