Recently, two construction projects in SIP High-end Manufacturing and International Trade Zone were approved, marking new progress in local industrial land redevelopment.
Glanbia Nutritionals (Suzhou) Co Ltd received the construction permit on Nov 17 for building a four-storey workshop and auxiliary facilities in the south of its plant at No.128 Fangzhong Street. The project, with a total investment of RMB67.9 million, will be equipped with a new food additive production line. It will allow the company to expand output of premixes, solid beverages and health products, and thereby it will enhance its market competitiveness.

A project at No. 1 Fengli Street received the construction permit on Nov 24. Spanning 75.5 mu (5.03 hectares), it is designed to be a modern industrial complex for companies engaged in emerging sectors such as low-altitude economy, intelligent manufacturing and new materials. The old buildings on this land plot will be demolished and new ones will be built, with a total floor area reaching over 80,000 square meters.
