The event that took place in SIP on Nov 12 brought together over 20 European robotics firms and a number of Chinese companies to explore possibilities of cooperating in innovation and industrial development.


During the event, China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park Development Group Co Ltd (CSSD), a Sino-Singaporean joint venture which has participated in the development of SIP since its inception, gave the participants a specific introduction to SIP’s industrial ecosystem for robotics, highlighting its industrial foundation, advantages, resources and open innovation environment.
InnoAngel Fund, a venture capital firm headquartered in Beijing, offered a comprehensive analysis of investors’ focuses when choosing robotics projects, covering innovation capacity, growth prospects and sustainability.

The event incorporated a project roadshow where companies from Spain, Hungary, the United States, the United Kingdom, Russia, Finland and Italy showcased expertise in wearable robots, haptic sensing, exoskeletons and other fields, while expressing needs for partners in R&D, technology application and local supply chain development. The participating local companies and universities demonstrated their technical strengths and showed intentions for cooperation.
The free exchange session fostered in-depth dialogues, with several European firms showing strong interest in establishing R&D centers and carrying out cooperation in technology transfer and transformation in SIP.
